Enjoy Benefits, is backing the campaign “Mind the Gap – Raise the Cap” which aims to persuade the Government to raise the childcare voucher cap from £55 per week to £75.
Childcare costs for working parents continue to rise and parents often end up paying the same amount or more than the cost of their mortgage, in childcare. However, the allowance of £55 per week has not changed since 2006.
Childcare vouchers are an employee benefit that both mothers and fathers can take to pay for all forms of childcare from birth up to the age of 16. Any working parent can use the benefit via their employer and parents can save up to £1866 per year in tax and national insurance payments by taking the childcare voucher benefit.
